Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BUSTER is an AMAZING Boy in search of a new loving and final forever home! His family has a small toddler and another on the way. Husband was diagnosed with Cancer. They dont have time for Buster anymore.
-Born: 12/14/08 in Florida - rehomed -Adopted: 4/2013
-Color: brown and white
One brown eye, one blue eye (perfect sight)
-Weights approx. 55-60 lbs
-all shots are current, due for Lyme vaccine this month, but that's not needed everywhere, depends on what u do and where u live
-no medical/health issues
-He does have a very small growth on his left eyelid, the vet said it's not a big deal but it could be removed, it has not changed in size for years
-at his last visit they also recommended getting his teeth cleaned under anesthesia
-neutered in 2009
-microchipped in 2009
-house broken
-He minds very well on walks and will stay right at your side on and off leash.
-socialized very well with other dogs, people and children
-overall very happy cheery demeanor, loves to be loved on and pet, gives the best hugs, loves running and "prairie grazing", loves walks and rides in the car, loves chewing on bones and playing with balls
-No known allergies or skin problems
-Meds: Takes Trifexis at the beginning of every month for heart-worm and flea protection
-Food: Kirkland signature natures domain-beef and sweet potato flavor (dry-from Costco, he doesn't care for salmon flavor but we haven't tried again in a while )
-Eats twice per day, no set times (am and pm)
-Sleeps downstairs in a blocked off area in our house mostly
-follows basic commands, sit, stay, lay down, also knows speak and hugs
He's a very loving active dog, has lots of energy but will also lay and just relax with you, but he needs good exercise! He has a very happy demeanor. Is gentle and sweet, just loves to be loved. He's like a free spirit we call him! He is very well behaved around our 2 year old (never had any issues except kisses!)
