This little 10 year old blind Shih Tzu was surrendered to our rescue because his family moved to back to Costa Rica. They could not take Rico with them and he is so confused. He is a true love bug but needs help and guidance to help him acclimate to his new surroundings. Rico was born without eyes so he's never know sight. He was just neutered, had a dental cleaning, is microchipped, vaccinated and ready for his new home. He will need someone understanding and patient and who will give him the true love he so deserves. He is fantastic with other dogs and cats. He came from a home with young children and he loved them very much. I think at his age, a nice quiet home would be best. He loves the outdoors and loves to sniff and go for slow walks. He also likes to sit in a nice warm lap where he feels safe. If you think you are the right person for Rico, please contact me. He would love a forever home. An adoption application is required, a home visit and a $150.00 adoption fee. Thank you.
