Rusty is a 9 year old, 12 pound Yorkie being fostered near Clarksville, TN
Hello everyone Rusty here and I am so excited to tell you all about what I did last week! My foster mom and her United Yorkie Rescue friends and even their friends and family wanted to get the word our about the rescue and what they do to help us find homes and I got to help too! They set up a booth at Summerfest with all kinds of stuff doggie stuff, people food and drinks, and also information about the rescue. I got to go everyday and meet other foster dogs like Bert and Ernie, Mazie, and Rocco they are all my new fur-friends they even had other dogs there that already had found their families like Chloe, Zoe, and Hope and many more I can't remember all the names but we were all there to get the word out. I got to spend time with people who wanted to love on me and pet me and give me kisses it was so much fun... on the last night I even got to stay out late for the fireworks and they were so pretty... I really like being about to get out and go places... so if you think I might be the perfect fit for your family please fill out an application. I do have a couple of issue that my foster mom wants to make sure you know about but nothing that keeps me from having a good time. I have skin allergies so I must eat special food and you can't let me have any other food even though I might try to sneak it. I do take medicine for my allergies and heart murmur but I don't let anything keep me down I am always ready to go for a ride in the car.
