My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tula is about 1 1/2 years old and came from our local shelter where she was for a week before New Digs took her. She was emaciated and every bone in her body was prominent - she weighed only 40 lbs! She had either been running for some time or came from a very bad situation. After a month she has gained 11 lbs and needs to gain a few more!

Tula has a remarkable personality and adores people! Although housetraining has taken awhile every other thing she has caught on to very quickly.... she figured out her name and how to "sit" and what words mean what in just a few days. Tula seems to have fun no matter what activity she is learning and an obedience class would be perfect for her. She has a mild temperament and not a mean bone in her body. She gets along great with other dogs, cats and older kind children and has been a fun girl to know.

Tula is crate trained but would love to sleep with someone! and she will thrive with an active family - goofy, smart and sweet! She is not a hunting girl unless you hide a treat. Being loved and a companion to her family are her goals in life.

Tula will require a fenced yard to keep her safe so she will never be lost again. Her adoption fee is $150.
