Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATED BIO 10-29-08: Breanna is a beautiful 7 y/o 7# yorkie girlie. She is being fostered in Miramar, FL. She is doing very well in her foster home and has even begun to play with toys; she is also playing with a few of the other dogs in the home. She tries to be the 'boss of the puppy party', since she has been the only dog in the home all her life.
Breanna will make someone a wonderful little companion - she would be fine as an only dog, or with another dog close to her size and age. PLEASE NOTE: Because of Breanna's size, she cannot be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 y/o. Please do not apply if you have children under this age.
UPDATED BIO 10/13/08: Breanna is a beautiful 7 y/o 7# yorkie girlie. She is being fostered in Miramar, FL. Breanna is doing very good in her foster home; having come from a one-dog home to a foster home with 5 dogs took a bit of getting used to! She likes to "police" the dogs while they play and when they try to jump on Foster Mom's bed, but they just ignore her. At first, FM thought Breanna wanted to be the 'boss of the puppy party', but she now thinks that Breanna is trying to get the other doggies to play with her. Since Breanna was an only dog, she isn't quite sure what the proper 'etiquette' is for asking another dog to play.....but she has begun to interact with the dogs which is a very good sign. Foster Mom says that it is very funny to see one of her own dogs, twice Breanna's size, run away from her as if she was a pit bull - when all she wanted to do was to nip him in the butt!
Breanna's coat is so soft and shiny since she went to the doggie spa. She is doing much better in her housetraining and will let FM know when she has to go outside - at least, most of the time. Breanna will make someone a wonderful little companion - she would be fine as an only dog, or with another dog close to her size and age. PLEASE NOTE: Because of Breanna's size, she cannot be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 y/o. Please do not apply if you have children under this age.
UPDATED BIO 10/04/08: Breanna is a beautiful 7 y/o 7# yorkie girlie. She had a badly-needed dental last week and lost 18 teeth! Her mouth was badly infected and she will certainly feel much better now. She is a very sweet little girl and is recuperating nicely from her dental. PLEASE NOTE: Because of Breanna's size, she cannot be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 y/o. Please do not apply if you have children under this age.
UPDATED BIO 09/29/08: Breanna will be having her dental tomorrow and may lose over 8 teeth, but she will feel so much better - she had quite a few really bad teeth in her mouth. The vet feels that she would be at a much healthier weight if she lost about a pound, which would mean she should be a 6# little girlie instead of a 7.3# little girlie - Foster Mom will be working on that. She is doing well in her foster home and beginning to play with the other pups in the home. She is a very sweet little girlie. PLEASE NOTE: Because of Breanna's size, she cannot be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 y/o. Please do not apply if you have children under this age.
09/26/08 INITIAL BIO: Breanna is the newest little princess in Florida - she is a beautiful 7 y/o 7# girlie whose mom was no longer able to keep her, but knew that UYR would find a wonderful, loving 2nd home for her. Breanna is used to being an only dog but she is doing well in her foster home where there are other dogs. Watch here for updates on her as soon as her Foster Mom gets to know her better.
