Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATED BIO 10/06/08: Hi, Benny here.... Well, my adoption fell through; so, I'm on the market again! My new mom had to change jobs to a new one that would have forced me to spend a loooooong time alone every day. It was a hard decision for her to make since she loved me oh-so-much, but she wanted what's best for me. If you think you're what's best for me, contact my FM, 'kay? I'm ready, already!
UPDATED BIO 09/24/08: My name is Benny - and I'm really doing a happy dance! My new moms are coming to pick me up on 10/11/08 - ain't that wonderful??
ORIGINAL BIO 08/24/08: My name is Benny; I'm a 1-2 y/o 10# little boy who desperately wants a home where I can love on my new mommy or daddy. I was found wandering the lonely streets during Tropical Storm Fay....that's no place for little ole' me! Maybe they shoulda named me Toto cuz I was afraid I was going to be airborne with all that wind!? When I was found, I was so soooo hungry! FM has never seen a little guy eat so fast! :) I crave affection, and am pretty submissive. I love to be in your lap or lay on the floor by your feet. If you push me away, I slink my way back to you. FM thinks that I may not have received much attention in my previous home. That's all changed for me since I've been rescued. :) Thank you UYR!
Hello, this is Benny's Foster Mom. Benny is an absolute darling. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. Benny has a shy curiosity about him at first, but his tail wags out of control upon meeting another dog. It took a few days in his previous foster home, but he eventually started to join in playing games with his fur-brothers and fur-sisters. Loud noises startle him and he doesn't like it when people raise their voices. Benny needs a little help on his housetraining, but he appears to be a smart, attentive little boy who only wants to please you. He really is a sweetheart. If you consider adopting Benny, you will have a true friend for life. Yorkie hugs from the Sunshine State!
