Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello everyone!! My name is Juliet! I didn't always have a name however . . . . . A few months ago, I was found by a nice police officer, huddling under a crate in a terrible storm. I was soaking wet, trembling, and very scared . . . not to mention, VERY HUNGRY!! I was taken to a room where the nice lady put me in a cage. Thankfully there was some food, water and a blanket for me. However, since the room was not completely indoors, I could hear the lightning and wind, and I was still very, very scared. Then something amazing happened!! Four girls walked in and immediately came to my cage. I wasn't too sure of them at first, but I knew I was sad and very scared. They came in and put a sweater on me and I could see them huddled up talking, but even with these ears of mine, I still couldn't hear what they were saying? I was so worried something else bad was going to happen to me. After a while, they came back over and opened my cage door -- but this time they took me out!!!!!!! I heard one girl say, "We'll name her Juliet - for Valentine's Day!" I also noticed they were taking another furry friend, that was next to me! I heard them say they were going to name him Romeo! (He is going to write his own story). The next thing I knew, I was inside a warm place, with other furry friends!! It was then that I got introduced to my new foster Mom!! I was immediately hugged and kissed, and she told me everything was going to be alright!! She fed me a nice dinner, and then I got to cuddle with her in blankets on her couch. WOW! I had no idea this is what life could actually be like?! I get to have so much fun playing with my foster brothers and sisters!! We run around her house, we wrestle, then we get to eat, then we play again, then we take naps. When we wake up, it starts all over again! It is so wonderful to not feel scared anymore . . . . or hungry, or worried. There is also another nice lady that comes and picks me up, and she takes me for walks, and rides in her car -- it is so fun to have "girl time" together!! She told my foster Mom that I am excellent on walks and a very good girl in the car. While my new life is something I could never have imagined, I would REALLY like a family to call my own . . . . I would love to know I am going to go to a home, to stay there FOREVER. Could I come to your house? Could you be my forever family?
