My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arrival Story: Poor Frankie has lived his entire life on the end of a chain with little human interaction. He was taken to a rural shelter with wounds on his head and a chain embedded in his neck. To make matters worse, he is heartworm positive because his previous owners never bothered giving him a monthly heartworm preventative. But never fear, once completing his heartworm treatment, he will be as good as new and ready for a wonderful person or family to share the rest of his life with.

Age / Weight: He is about 4 years old and 60 lbs.

Personality Description: Frankie is in the process of leaving a shelter and coming to our rescue. At the shelter, he is the happiest boy ever - just loves getting attention from the shelter workers and playing with the other dogs. Can you imagine what he'll be like once he finds that special forever home where he will have a family of his own that will love and care for him as he should be cared for?

Ideal Forever Home: TBD but we think he would do well in many situations because he just is a fun loving, good natured boy.
