Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our beautiful Maximus.
He was found roaming the streets in pretty rough condition. He had lost all of his fur and his skin was covered with infections to the point that you couldn’t tell what breed he may be. His head was hanging low, his eyes told a painful story and his body was signalizing that he could not survive much longer under these conditions. Maximus must have suffered several month until someone finally noticed him.
We are happy to report that he has made a full recovery. He is an extremely handsome Rottweiler and a cute one at that. Maximus was born around June 2015 and is not even 2 years old yet. He weighs around 97 pounds but it's 97 pound of pure love.
Maximus walks well on leash and keeps his kennel clean. He is a big baby and seeks attention from people but still has to learn manners. He likes to jump on you and give kisses. He doesn’t show any reaction to other dogs but is not smitten with his kennel neighbor. Due to his size we prefer an experienced dog owner for Maximus, as we are sure he can be a handful if only spoiled rotten and not trained to be obedient. He clearly wants to do right by us and enjoyed all of the attention at his photo shoot.
Maximus would benefit from being in a foster home, or better yet, an adoptive home, instead of the kennel. Now that he is all healed up, he is ready to see what else life has to offer him. He doesn’t know yet what it is like to relax on the couch with his human or sit outside in the yard watching over you while you clean the flower beds. He surly would love going on a walk with you as well. Will you be the one to introduce him to the finer things in life?
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to most major US and Canadian cities via United Airlines PetSafe for an additional $275. A customs fee may apply at Canadian airports. Ground transportation to Colorado is available for $75, and several locations in the northeastern US for $175.
We are a street dog rescue in Houston, Texas seeking to place rescued dogs in loving homes across the US and Canada. Our region has more homeless animals than homes, so we look outside of our area for adopters.
The adoption fee of $200 covers neuter, microchip and current vaccines.
Please apply to adopt Maximus online at www.corridorrescue.org.
