My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet boy originally made it to Oregon from a shelter in CA. Since then, this guy has been bounced around from one bad situation to another until he was picked up and taken to Marion County Dog Shelter. Upon his arrival at the shelter it was clear that this guy had been suffering from untreated infections affecting his whole body, including his feet, for years. LLR pulled him and began treatment. With a lot of TLC, this guy has become a healthy love bug. His feet are the last to heal, and have made great progress. We discovered in getting him medical care that he has hypothyroid and will require daily thyroid meds throughout the rest of his life ($28 for 2 months supply). Since being on the thyroid meds, and the infection being treated, Dudley has gained weight, gotten his fur back and is doing great.
Dudley would do the best in a calm home with few or no other dogs as he is dog selective. He is currently living with 2 small dogs, and his previous foster had large and small dogs, as well as cats. He has done well in these homes with the other animals, and we have also seen him not do well with dogs outside of his current pack. He is a SWEET GUY and will make a wonderful addition to a family.
