Nutmeg was thrown out of a truck in a historic neighborhood of Detroit with her sister Ginger. She's a true lover and a tom boy. She tackles the world head on and is fearless. Paws and Think Detroit would like to keep the "spice" sisters together because they are a perfect pair. They play, sleep, take care of one another. It is hard to find a bond like these two have. They probably have always fought to survive together and it would be a shame to have to separate them now.
Nutmeg loves her foster home and loves to give lots of kisses. Nutmeg is crate trained, and learned how to eat without scarfing her food down, as well as learned manners. She knows how to walk on a leash perfectly. She is a very calm personality and would do well with other dogs, potentially cats if introduced slowly and children.
If you would like to adopt the bonded pair please fill out the application below and email it to us.
