My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Husky Lovers...take a look at this handsome boy! Meet River, he's a 1 year old Husky Mix (possibly Border Collie or Australian Shepherd) who is UTD w/ shots, neutered and microchipped. River can be a little shy at first but warms up to you after a lot of hugs and kisses. Like most young pups, River will need to continue his training but he is super smart and picks up on things very quickly. He does great in a crate and rides well in the car. He plays well with other dogs after he gets to know them (would like to place him in a home with another dog), and can be in a home with cats as long as you introduce them slowly and monitor their interactions for the first few days. We'd prefer a household with kids 10 years old and up since he is still a bit shy with people. Working from home is a plus or if you're able to take him to work with you, that would be ideal. Also, a 6' fence minimum and a backyard for him to stretch his legs. River will make a great running and hiking partner but mostly an all-around wonderful member of your family. River warms up to women a little quicker. He can be timid with some men but does do well with others. A meet & greet and home check are required.
