***** ADOPTION PENDING *****
Petite Princess looking for Perfect Place.
Please read her FULL profile before asking about adoption.
Meet Maggie Mae. This tiny darling is searching for a forever home. Maggie has a sweet and funny personality, she is affectionate, gentle and loves to be the center of attention. With her charming looks, big brown eyes and funny way of cocking her head to listen when people are talking, this princess manages to steal the hearts of everyone she meets. Maggie pacts a lot of sweet personality into a tiny frame, she deserves to be treated like the princess she is. This extra special little girl will make a wonderful companion for some very lucky family.
Maggie is a 6 pound pure bred yorkie. She is approximately 5 to 6 years old. Maggie Mea is house trained, create trained and is good for car rides. Her favorite thing is to go for walks. She gets along very well with her foster doggie brothers and sisters and likes making new human friends as well.
To prepare for her adoption, Maggie has been spayed, given all age appropriate vaccinations. Her teeth have just been cleaned and she has even been micro chipped. She is heart worm negative and is on heartworm and flea prevention. Maggie is on a vet proscribed, high protein diet. Adhering to this diet is crucial to ensuring Maggie stays in good health. Her adoption fee is $250.00
We do our best to place our fosters in the right type of environment to suit their needs. With this goal in mind, Maggie will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 8. Maggie’s new home must have a fenced in back yard and a current vet reference is required. Maggie’s breed needs regular grooming, her new family must be willing to commit to this. Maggie has special, high protein diet needs. She is on a vet prescribed food. To ensure her health, Maggie’s new family must be able to keep her on the food that has been prescribed by her vet. Adopters with at least one current, small breed pup living in the home are strongly preferred and will be given preference. We will not adopt to any home with an unfixed dog or cat present. Maggie Mae loves her walks, her new owner or family will need to be able to commit to this regular form of exercise.
***** FCDF performs a home visit and inspection with the perspective animal. No out of state/ area adoption are possible. A current vet reference is required. *****
