My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lexi comes to us all the way from Montgomery, AL where she was found as a stray by the local shelter. The rescue coordinator contacted us directly as they do not get many bull terriers and they wanted her to go to a breed specific rescue group. We were thrilled to be able to help out; this marks a first for us in pulling a dog from out of state! • • • Lexi is a young girl, approximately 2-3 years old and weighs about 35 lbs. She is very very sweet and so far has been non-reactive to other dogs, and very sweet with children. She has not been cat-tested. Lexi is heartworm positive and will need to begin the long and expensive treatment of getting rid of those heartworms 😓. • • • We are still in the initial stages of evaluating this lovely lady, so stay tuned as we get to know her better!
