My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Junior 2-5-2017 Meet the cutest “Little-Love-Bug” in world! Rescued from a Southern Kill shelter and Now in VT foster home, He appears to be a Chihuahua x Min-Pin ; with the min-pin type face, eyes, snout and ears and always wagging happy little tail! Note: This adorable little boy is just as cute as can be, he gets along great with other dogs of all ages and sizes, he loves to play and romp in typical little puppy fashion.

He is ONLY 7# and aprox 10 weeks old. Junior is a Love-bug & doing great with foster folks other dogs (the other dogs are 18# - 65#)... He is adjusting really well in this well balanced pack and excellent foster parents. He is so tiny his foster mom had trouble finding a store selling a harness small enough to fit him! Found one! lol..

Small in size and BIG on Personality with Overboard on CUTE! He has gotten used accustomed to wearing the "macro-mini-harness" and walks on a leash beautifully. When on his leash walks right along side with perfect manners! He struts like he is the champion at Westminster KC show at Madison Square Garden in NYC!

Recently with all this cold and snow getting on/off with the tiniest zippered jacket has become routine and is going potty out side with the big dogs. He sleeps at night in a crate and in the morning when he has to "go" he wines or gives low bark to let you know... His foster takes him out of crate & puts him on top of it where he stands to get on his coat & Leash on and out he goes. He is now almost fully housebroken. His foster family has a strand of jingle bells on the door when she runs over to and rattles when he wants to go outside.

He likes his toys, plays well with others, enjoys teething on ice cubes he is a good eater (3x day, grain free puppy food) and yes he is crate trained. At his foster home tiny breeds are leash trained and learn same social skills with all paws on ground, as other size dogs do. This is to ensure he is a well-balanced happy dog.

He is learning to walk on a leash alone or even with other dogs, (his foster is a pro so don’t try this right off!) He has the most adorable way of strutting when he walks on leash... Not a clue he isn't a a boxer like his foster brothers and sisters, we think if introduced properly to a kitten or an adult cat (used to dogs) he would do just fine.

Goodness Gracious, HE Truly is the ENTIRE PACKAGE! Looks, personality, poise, well balanced temperament, does great W/ other pets, Very smart, learn's fast...Could you be the Perfect home for him? Do not write us an ask is he available-if you're seeing his picture and story here then he is available. We do not adopt to the first come first serve but rather strive to find the home that those can meet the needs of each individual dog.
