My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxie, 11 year old female. Meet Roxie! This sweetie has had a rough life; covered in sores and with missing fur, she has been in pain for many years due to an out-of-control flea allergy. Thankfully she is on her way to recovery! As Roxie gets better, more and more of her wonderful personality reveals itself. Roxie would like you to know that she absolutely loves playing ball and will gently deposit the ball near your feet for the next round. If you need a break from playing, that is quite alright; Roxie will settle nearby for a nap! Roxie bonds strongly with her family and will most likely follow you from room to room, but tends to do okay when home alone while her family is at work. She can be shy when meeting new people and while she has lived with children in her past life, we would recommend older children for her retirement days. Roxie enjoys hanging out with other dogs and absolutely loves cats! We do not know how much exposure she had in her last home, so walks are a little scary for her, although she is learning that they are full of new and interesting scents and sights (and dogs!). She is housebroken, has lovely house manners, responds well to her name, and enjoys making the rounds in the house to look out all of the windows. Roxie would SO love a home that can shower her with all of the TLC and nurturing that she has missed out on - please consider this lively and young spirited senior!
