Dexter thought he'd found a home with his foster mom, who says he's the best, most well-behaved dog she's ever met, but due to circumstances beyond her control, she now cannot commit to Dexter long-term, so Dexter's adoption is no longer pending - he's AVAILABLE!

Arrival Story: Dexter


Bio: Dexter is housetrained, neutered & has a clean bill of health! He will be 3 years old this fall and is very puppy-like in his behavior. We are limited his adoption to homes with older children because he doesn't know his own strength and could knock little children down! He was surrendered by his family because the kids didn't like it that he barked at them when they were in the pool - they found him to be scary; We think he was just excited!!

Dexter is really charming. He's handsome and sweet, inside and out.

Likes: treats, roaming the fenced yard, belly rubs, the couch, DINNER


Pet-Peeves: Houses without air conditioning and other dogs getting all the attention . . .
