My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is an incredibly sweet grey & black tabby kitten who was found as a stray after presumably being hit by a car! Thankfully, he was taken off of the streets and brought to Philadelphia's animal control shelter. Next thing he knew, Toby became a Philly Kitty and was brought to Colmar Veterinary Hospital to see Dr. Platt the following day! An x-ray determined that he had a fracture located right near the joint where his hip and hind leg are connected. Thankfully, his leg was repairable with the help of an orthopedic surgeon, and Toby received a special surgery called an FHO or "femoral head osteotomy." Toby has made a speedy recovery thanks to all of the stretching his physical therapist aka foster dad has been helping him with!

This handsome guy is an absolute ham, and loves receiving attention! He purrs louder than any other kitty his foster mommy has ever heard, and the way he rolls around on his back to ask for pets is irresistible! He loves spending time cuddled up on the couch with his foster family and watching TV with them. No, seriously...he literally watches the TV. He finds TV absolutely mesmerizing, and has no channels of preference so you'll never need to worry about arguing over the remote. Toby has been very friendly towards all of the kitties he has met in his current foster home, but he is not a fan of dogs so he will need to find a family that does not include any pups!
