SADI IS BEING FOSTERED IN DURHAM, NC, YOU MUST BE WILLING TO DRIVE HERE FOR PICK UP AT ADOPTION TIME. WE DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
ADOPTION FEE: $150
SADI, is a pure bred spayed female Shih Tzu. Sadi is 8 years young and still has so much to offer a family. She is heartworm negative, on monthly prevention, up to date on all vaccines, spayed, mcirochipped and looking for her forever home.
Sadi had a rough life. She lived in a caged area and used her entire life to do nothing but produce puppies. According to her paperwork, this precious baby of only 9lbs herself, has had 15 litters of puppies in her lifetime. What a shame to make money off another living being. We knew being a puppy mill dog she wasn't housetrained, but after being spayed we noticed she went literally every few minutes. X-Ray showed she had a bladder stone the size of a large peanut M&M. Sadi had surgery the day after Christmas to have this removed.
Now today, she is running, playing, doing great and only has a few accidents inside now. We do have her on a medication for overactive bladder since hers dropped from having so many babies along with being spayed. The medication is very cheap.
Sadi gets along with all the dogs here, we have a 2 1/2 yr old grandson and she is so gentle with him. She will follow you around the house. When riding in the car, she never makes a sound, as long as she gets to go with you. You enjoys sitting in your lap, sitting by your feet or a nice soft dog bed nearby you. At night she is sleeping on the foot of the bed, but only after she comes up to nudge you for that last touch of the night.
This dog has many years to live and give you unconditional love. I've had so many dogs in my home during the years of rescue, but Sadi by far has left a place in my heart so wide. She has touched me to the core. There is no reason any animal should have to endure a life like she's lived. The first few weeks we had her, she was so scared if you touched her, now she is still shy and just lays on the floor sometimes for you to come to her. Sadi is still learning to accept there are good, loving people in this world and she will never be hit again or made to produce puppies.
