My story

Meet Joey! Joey is a gorgeous black low shedding Terrier/Poodle Mix who is 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He is a friendly, sensitive dog who loves people and is eager to please. He was rescued from a local high kill shelter by DogzHaus and has been thriving in foster care where he waits for his forever home. When Joey came to us his coat was in pretty rough shape--his skin was itchy and his fur was patchy. He has been on a limited ingredient, high nutrient food and oral flea medication which is helping to regrow his coat and prevent his itchiness. He was also diagnosed with a lower grade heart murmur for which he currently does not require medication. As long as he maintains a moderate activity level including light daily walks and a healthy diet he should be fine. Joey gets along with other dogs, but he is not great with cats. He may be happiest as the one and only pet in the household since he loves having his person all to himself. Joey is house trained, good on leash and good in a car.
