Updated Bio 1/19/2017: Dusty is a 4 year old, Silky boy being fostered in Ashland City, TN

Dusty has seen the Dogtor and received a clean bill of health. He has a beautiful silky coat, pretty teeth and weighs a perfect 13lbs.

His adoption fee is $400. All adoptions through United Yorkie Rescue require a Vet reference, personal references and a home visit.


Foster Mom has seen a lot of progress in the house-training department since he arrived in his foster home. Dusty not marked anywhere and has been standing by the door to go outside. During the rain, he walked over and used the wee-wee pad. He wore a bellyband a couple of days with no accidents inside.



Dusty is super energetic and loves to play, play and play some more! He has gotten along perfectly with his three fur doggie foster sisters. He has been playing tug-of-war ever so gently with his foster mom's 3.5 lb 9 year old Yorkie. Never once has Dusty shown any aggression to anyone or anything.



Dusty walks great on a leash and rides well in a car. He prefers a fenced-in yard so he can run fast and play, so it is a bonus if his new home has a fenced-in yard. Due to his activity and very puppy-like behavior, a family with children 10 years old or older would be a perfect fit for him. He enjoys being with his human at all times. Dusty loves to sit on the couch or chair with someone and sleeps in his foster parents bed, right in-between them by the pillows. Dusty is anxious to be a part of a family for the rest of his life. He can't wait to meet his forever family – could that family be you?
