Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tut is newly arrived from Egypt and has definitely had a rough life, and he has the scars to prove it. Despite this rough start this 2 year old boy is as sweet as can be with absolutely no signs of aggression and no protective behaviors with food or toys. He seems to be house trained and knows the sit command, but not much else. He is neutered and is up-to-date on his shots. He definitely needs the love, attention, and socialization that he can only receive from a foster or adopter.
We believe Tut is a very good example of what has now been recognized as a breed indigenous to Africa and particularly southern Africa. These dogs have been called African Hunting dogs for a long time. Very loyal and courageous, medium size to big (25 to 45 kg) tremendous stamina, very playful and intelligent. Good with kids and very social. In profile when sitting is very much like the dogs in Egyptian hieroglyphics.
