Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Ruby was hit by a car and Animal Control was called to pick her up. Due to the accident, one of Ruby’s front legs is a bit unbalanced and weak, but that doesn't slow her down one bit! She's adjusted to her condition nicely and is ready to give lots of love to a loving family who will appreciate a friendly, well socialized, smart pup.
Ruby is currently living with a foster family with a baby and multiple dogs, and she gets along well with them all. Ruby has not been around a cat, but we believe that with a proper introduction and right fit, she should be fine with just about any little animal.
Ruby is housebroken (knows to use pee pads), walks well on leash, spayed and UTD on her shots.
Ruby is currently fostered in a private home setting in Korea. We plan on bringing her to Princeton, New Jersey in late February upon finding a forever family for her. Ruby’s adoption fee is $300. If you would like to #adopt Ruby, please email donghaepaws@gmail.com with a bit of information about yourself (e.g. your experience as a dog owner, your family and/or other pets, etc.) and your phone number. A HDP volunteer will promptly respond to your email. Thank you!
Prior to rescue, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization and it takes time for them to learn about life as a family pet. Common skills such as house training and leash walking may often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old.
A home check is mandatory before adoption.
*** About us ***
Hope For Donghae Paws(HDP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to bringing rescue dogs from Korea to the US and finding permanent homes for them. It is true there are many animal lovers in Korea, but still many dogs suffer and are killed for food.
Our mission is to find US homes for mixed-breed dogs whose chances of being adopted in their native Korea are very low.
