My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trixie and her brother Tommy were found by a girl at her bus stop when they came crawling out of a drainage ditch soaking wet crying and starving. She brought them home to her mother who immediately started trying to locate help for Trixie. It was very obvious that Trixie has an eye injury. After being turned away by the local shelter and area vets, the woman was finally put in touch with cause4paws. We said YES, we will help! We immediately took both Trixie and Tommy to the vet, they were given fluids for dehydration, antibiotics and eye ointment for Trixie. Trixie has since had her eye removed and is available for adoption along with her brother Tommy
