My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gracie! Words can not describe how affectionate and loving she is with people!

She purrs a lot, rubs on your legs and loves to give nose kisses, as soon as you sit down she is on your lap, purring and asking to be petted.

Gracie is about 5 years old short fur gray tabby girl. She has a very soft plush fur and loves to be brushed. Her fur has a nice gray, silver, blue coloring with some tabby strips.

Gracie is declawed. In good health and has good litter box manners.

Hi my name is Gracie, check out my pictures and video here. I am very affectionate cat who loves to be petted. I will follow you around everywhere in the house. If you like working on your computer, you will find me wanting to sit on your lap as you work, that is if you can.

If you are relaxing on the couch I will lay on your lap purring. I also respond with a very soft meow when you call me. I love sunny windows to lay on and I am very easy going relaxed but at the same time playful girl.

I am very affectionate and friendly. I am very easy to care for and don’t ask for much, just a nice loving home with soft blanket to lay on, good food and perhaps a cat tree or scratching post - would be nice.

I am always go with a flow kind of girl!

I am the most intelligent cat you ever met. I enjoy conversations with people, and with my facial expressions, people swear I am like a human or a dog

I am very loving, very snuggly. I like to knead on soft blanket and sleep next to you.

I love people and not afraid of strangers, I greet everyone.

I am a very intelligent, affectionate playful girl, who enjoys a feather wand or few little toys to play around with. I have a nice silver coat and big very expressive eyes, I am lean and a very elegant girl.

I will greet you at the door, find a quiet seat next to you, or fetch a toy at playtime. I like laser pointer and a nice tall cat tree by the window would be great for me to watch birds during day.

Contact my foster mom to learn more about me and meet me. I am just such a great affectionate companion.

Gracie is up-to-date on all shots: Distemper, Rabies. Tested negative for Felv/FIV. Spayed. Microchiped. Litter box trained. Likes to use scratching post and cat tree.

The adoption process:

1) You fill out an Adoption Application.

2) Our Adoption Coordinator contacts you via email to let you know the application has been received and calls you with questions about your application, checks references, and discusses which cats/kittens might be a good match.

3) If the application is approved, the Adoption Coordinator will put you in touch with the appropriate foster home(s) so you can schedule a time to meet the cats/kittens that interest you most.
Once you meet the cats/kittens you’d like to adopt, you let the foster parent and Adoption Coordinator know your choice.

4) We bring the foster cat/kitten(s) to your home and do a walk through your home to make sure your home is safe for a pet.

5) Adoption contract is signed, adoption fee is paid, and we give you information to help your new family member settle in. We can provide the information about the cat/kitten(s) diet, preventative veterinary care, training...

And if you have any question a week, a month, or a year after adoption, we are here to help! If for some reason the adoption doesn’t work out, we always take the cat/kitten back.

More about this rescue

Cat Chance Rescue is a non-profit, small, all volunteer rescue group dedicated to helping cats and kittens find their forever homes.
We believe “Every Cat Deserves a Chance”.
All our cats and kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up to date on Distemper and Rabies shots, tested for FIV/FeLV, microchiped, dewormed and deflead prior to adoption.
We are no-kill rescue and all our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes until placed into forever homes.

Cat Chance Rescue is a group dedicated and committed to promoting pet spay and neuter. We provide information to educate individuals and communities of the importance of responsible pet ownership. We concentrate on spaying and neutering feral cat colonies under TNR (trap-neuter-return) program. This practice reduces unwanted litters.
