My story

Maria Von Trap was rescued from an all kill shelter with her littermate just in time and then contacted our rescue to see if we could take them. They were cowering in their kennel, terrified at the shelter, and would not allow people to pet them. They learned to trust humans and now Maria is a sweet girl, who takes a little time to warm up to new people, and doesn't like small dogs yapping at her. Maria is looking for a loving family of her own. Maria is a sweet, snuggly girl and is great with dogs that are playful and about the same size or larger than she is. She quickly settles in with a cat in the house after she tries to chase it a time or two. She mostly just wants to curl up on the couch with you.
