Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE FROM HANK'S FOSTER HOME: Hank is such a sweet boy! He is friendly to all humans and dogs, and rarely barks or jumps up on people when greeting them. He is a wiggly guy that loves nothing more than to be pet and snuggled with, and to run and play outside - he loves to roll around and eat the snow! He would love you forever if you let him curl up with you on the bed at night. He has a lot of energy but settles down quickly when it is time for bed if he has gotten playtime and some exercise. He goes into his crate willingly with a treat and command of "kennel", but likely wouldn't need to be crated when his owners are gone. He is completely house trained and has had no accidents. He loves his food and treats, and is working on practicing his recall and the "come" and "lie down" commands. He knows "sit" very well and will do so almost immediately! He would love another dog sibling to wrestle and play with at home, but would also be perfectly content with his owner all to himself and trips to the dog park or doggy daycare occasionally to play with dog-friends. He seems to learn quickly and would love some obedience training - he would likely pass them quickly with flying colors. Hank is a 2 yr old neutered male border collie aussie mix. Hank is great with other dogs and is house trained, crate trained and loves his people. We have not cat tested Hank yet, but feel he might do best in a home with no kitties. Hank respects the 4 foot fence in his foster home and is looking for a fenced yard in his new home.
To apply to adopt Hank, fill out an application at www.hoabcr.org
Hank's adoption fee is $300 plus MN tax. He is UTD on vaccinations and micro-chipped.
To respect the time of our volunteer foster homes, we do not set up meetings until applications have been submitted and approved. Thank you.
