Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there. My name is Duke and I am a very handsome southern Brittany. They say I am about 3 years old and I still have lots puppy enthusiasm. Once I understood the rules and boundaries, I became extraordinaire…smart, handsome and a southern gentleman (I am from Georgia). Since coming to my foster home, I have learned my name, sit, down, paw (I love giving paw). I learned that I have to sit and stay before I can have dinner (it took 3 meals to figure this out). I’m very bright and eager to learn new things. I have two foster brothers and a foster sister (she’s the real boss) and I love to play with all of them. I love to run circles in the back yard with a toy or ball. When inside, I will quietly lay by your side or chew on a bone close by. I like to hang out in my crate too. I would be OK as a single spoiled Brittany, however, a brother or sister would be cool too. I am a silly boy and love to show off my goofiness. I love to cuddle with you laying my head on your shoulder. I love everyone that I have met. I would love to show off the new me with a forever family.
Foster Mom here…Duke is a very smart boy and has learned the ropes of the household in a very short time. He is very adaptable to any situation that has some his way. He is crate trained and will sleep all night. Since learning his name he is more alert and will pay attention to the lesson. He has learned that nothing in life is free and that he has to work for the cookie, toy or attention. He has discovered the cat and was very curious. Now he just watches. Duke will benefit from continued training from his forever family. Duke’s Brittany curiosity and enthusiasm have won over my heart and anyone that he has met. If you are interested in adopting Duke please visit our website at www.americanbrittanyrescue.org and fill out the online adoption application!
