Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josie is a precious basset/dachshund mix that was picked up as a stray in rural LA. She is around 5 years old. She is nearing the completion of heartworm treatment and is doing well. She is sweet and loving. She likes to be walked and she does fine on car rides. She is housebroken as well. She came to us with mammary tumors but these have been removed and all were benign. She is vaccinated, spayed, had a dental, was microchipped and will be heartworm negative when she completes treatment mid Jan. 2017.
Josie's adoption fee is $300 and the fee to transport as far as Putnam, CT is $185. We check vet references and do home visits prior to an adoption. We require that our dogs be on monthly year round heartworm prevention. Please email QueenB534@aol.com for more information and to request an application.
