Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to one cute little guy! Dusty is a 3.5 month old, 7 lb. male terrier mix. He is part of a litter of 7 "oops" puppies turned in by someone who kept the mother (she is now spayed). With an unknown father, the mother is a 37 pound curly haired black terrier so we expect Dusty to be a medium sized dog. Dusty is a friendly, playful pup and is as precious as can be. He is smart and currently uses a "potty box" for his business. Dusty is fully vetted and ready for an inside forever home where he will get all the love he deserves. If that could be you, you can fill out an adoption application online at www.caresga.org or you can email us at info.caresga@gmail.com and request an application. $350 adoption fee which goes towards paying his vet bills. A vet reference is required for all adoption to ensure a great home (this means you should have a history of owning a dog/cat so vet history can be verified). We have also come to realize pet who have had pets before have a more realistic expectation.
Adoption fees for puppies are $350, adults dogs are $250 and senior dogs are $150. This includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella and rabies, de-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), tested heart-worm negative (if positive, they are treated), tested negative for tick borne diseases, spayed/neutered, implanted with a mini micro-chip and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. All animals are also on a monthly regime of flea and heartworm medication. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip is included in each adoption fee. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, tags, a bag of dog food the pet has been on, Forti-Flora, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons as well as other various treats or toys as promotions become available. All puppy adoptions include a puppy training book, the Puppy Primer by Patricia McConnell, to help ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.
We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts!
