Marley is fostered in Martinsburg WV through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org.
Marley is an 11 yr. old, 4.5 lb. Yorkie boy, who came to United Yorkie Rescue in Dec. 2016. Marley came to United Yorkie Rescue after his owner died. It was quickly determined that he was a very sick boy. After fighting for his life with pneumonia, he still hasn't recovered fully and we continue to assess his needs. He's great with all dogs, children, and has never met a stranger. He's housetrained to go outside but is also pad trained.
Marley is such a character. He definitely believes that he is the protector of his foster family. This boy is fearless. At 11 years old, his little knee gives him some trouble getting around but everyone watches out for him. He needs doggy steps, a helping hand, and sometimes just some extra time to get up. He lost his teeth due to severe decay down to his jaw (the infection probably lead to the pneumonia), but he had no trouble eating. His little tongue sticks out and he had to re-learn his favorite activity, lots of kisses. Now he twists himself around just right to kiss every dog and human he can reach.
Marley will need a very special home where he's safe (no small children and large dogs) and provided the care and assistance he needs.
