Current Status: Oscar is on a trial adoption!

Oscar is a nine-year-old Yorkie who recently lost his mom. Oscar's sister found a home with a family friend, but we need to find Oscar a new forever home. Oscar is a very sweet boy who is used to being a lap dog & loves to go for rides! He is a puppy mill survivor but since being rescued by his mom, he's been very well cared for. Oscar is fully vetted & has been kept on preventatives. Oscar does have a seizure disorder but is on daily medication that keeps his disorder under control. His medicine is only $17 a month through his current vet so this is not a costly issue. Oscar does seem to have some separation anxiety issues so ideally we would like to place him in a home where someone is home most of the time; his mom was retired so he was used to being with his person a lot! He is also used to a quiet, low-key environment & gets nervous around a lot of activity so a home without young children is preferred.
