My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keiko is a wonderful little dog! Keiko is a 4 year old female Australian Shepherd/English Setter, Border Collie mix. With breeds like those, she was bound to be intelligent, loyal, and loving. Keiko is completely housebroken, crate trained, good on leash, pretty good off leash too, and knows her basic commands. Keiko loves to retrieve, and is a fast little dog. She pays attention and learns very quickly, and she loves to run and play. Her favorite thing, jumping and flipping for frisbee's! She's a natural frisbee dog, and tons of fun to watch.

Keiko does fine with other animals, but prefers the company to her human family or male dogs, and would be a perfect pet for a one pet home, or a home with a male dog. She would be fine in a home with other pets, they would just need to be a little more patient and teach Keiko and their dog which toys are whose, and to let them get to know and respect each other. All it takes is a little time, patience, and love! But, Keiko especially loves children as they have as much energy as she does and tend to keep up with her. Her favorite thing is to give kids a big kiss and then to run off and play tag with them!
