My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1 yr old son of DeeDee, who is also listed for adoption. Sooner comes from a puppymill, but I don't think he was ever used for breeding. He is shy and prone to panic at new situations, but he has made some great progress watching his mother learn about living in a house and playing with people, toys, and other dogs. He is still very much a big puppy. If you set anything down and it is within his reach, he will sneak up and steal it. (Phones, remotes, slippers, book, all that kind of thing) He can't resist. Too much fun, and he is a big fun-loving clown. It is going to take several months for him to mature enough to learn some proper manners and feel relaxed enough to show affection, but I think he is going to be an awesome dog. He is already asking for attention and sneaking up on the bed in the middle of the night. I really hope DeeDee and Sooner get adopted together. They have so much fun playing, and Sooner would do better with someone to show him the way.

He has an excellent pedigree including lots of European champions, but he has not let that go to his head. He still likes to roll around and play in the mud with the common Westies and Scotties.
