Salty Dog and Jack are a pair of brothers who just turned 9 yrs old. Their family has been torn apart by a very mean and ugly divorce, and it was decided it would be in the dogs best interest to let them go in order to spare them the stress and turmoil of the situation. These boys are wonderful. They are handsome, well trained, well behaved, sociable, get along with other dogs, and appear to be very healthy. They have always been together and are very comfortable together. They are friends, but they are not best friends. We would like to keep them together, but are willing to separate them if we can't find a match for them as a pair. I honestly don't know why anyone wouldn't take them both. There is really no difference between having one of them and having both of them. They are so well behaved, and as mature dogs they make very little demand on their people, except to be included in whatever is going on. Other than that, they pretty much take care of themselves.
