Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
** Please note Jilly's adoption fee has been waived! P4P will also cover A Sound Beginning class and in-home training session after adoption! **
This little lady is around 2-3 years old. She's a Jack Russel/Pit Mix weighing in at 40-45lbs. She would do best with an active family or single person. Jilly loves to exercise, cuddle, play with toys, and be by your side. In fact, her foster mom says that the closer Jilly can squeeze next to her people, the happier Jilly is!!
Jilly has mastered sit and shake, and she is very food motivated and smart, so we know she can go far with training. We are working on her manners when it comes to meeting new four legged friends because it can be really exciting and overwhelming. Her foster mom has a 125lbs fur baby that Jilly has gotten to know and with whom she loves to play and hang out.
Dogs: I’m a girl that needs several doggy dog dates before I know whether I like your company.
Cats: They are too boring, so I will pass.
Children: Kids over 10 due to my energy.
House-trained: Yes, but sometimes I really gotta go and can’t hold it!
Crate-trained: No, but does great in a gated off area in the house
Obedience: Knows basic commands, very quick learner and treat motivated
Energy Level: High energy
ABOUT PEACE 4 PITS RESCUE:
Please note that we do not have a facility or shelter where you can view adoptables. We are a foster-based rescue in Chicago-land, which means that each dog is placed with a family in the area. This allows us to better understand each dog's individual personalities.
You must complete an application before you can schedule a meet and greet with each animal. The application can be found here: http://peaceforpits.org/adoptionfoster-application/ or if you prefer a Word version, download it here: https://goo.gl/bKo84P and email it to p4papplications@gmail.com. Our adoption fee is typically $300 for an adult dog, and $350 for a dog under one year. It includes all vetting and spay/neuter.
