Remy is a 1.5 year old female Sable German Shepherd. She is spayed and UTD on vaccines. She is an owner surrender, a casualty of divorce.

  • Remy needs an owner with German Shepherd experience.
  • a quiet home with little foot traffic
  • no children 
  • there will be mandatory training in Alexandria with Melissa Pink 

Remy has good leash manners and knows obedience commands. She is a smart girl and a fast learner. She has intense ball drive and loves to play fetch. She will need continued socialization and exposure to people and places to build her confidence. She can be slow to warm up to people, but when she does she is sweet and playful. She is house trained and rides well in the car. She is not a dog for first time German Shepherd owners. She needs a home with experience with the breed--mixes do not count. The family MUST be active. This is a dog who needs exercise. A walking companion is not sufficient for her. She must be the only dog and no cats. 

The adoption contract requires training with one of TRD's approved trainers.
