Meet Kiah! She just came into our group as an owner surrender and more will be added as we learn about her! She is living in a foster home in Janesville, Wisconsin. She is around 40 pounds and between 4 and 5 years old. Here is what her family had to say about her:

Kiah is a beautiful German Shepard, Blue Healer, Border Collie mix. She is a wonderful energetic dog who loves to play and go on long walks. She needs those walks or a fenced in back yard as she needs to be able to burn off some of that energy. She can be a little shy at first but once she gets to know everyone she will cuddle and play all day long. She is incredibly loyal to her family and is great with other dogs. She can get a little excited with playing if she does not have a good outlet for her energy. She is also a very smart dog that just needs someone who has a little time to be able train her. Unfortunately with my current job and the fact that we just had a new baby, we do not have the time to give her that she deserves. It is incredibly hard and breaks my heart for me to look for a new home for her, but I know that she deserves to get more attention then what we can give her.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
