Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Garth. Garth is a 60 pound Boxer/Pointer cross. He is leggy and tall and would make a good running partner. He has a long stride and he is athletic. He is very sweet and is very puppyish in his mannerisms. He behaves like a big puppy. He is good on a leash but pulls when he sees something interesting. He is interested in treats and affection. He will be fun to train and he sits like a soldier when you have a treat in your hand. He gets really happy when you tell him he is a good boy. If you move fast toward him he flinches so it makes me think he has been hit. My guess is he was gotten as a puppy and never worked with and when he became large and had no training they dumped him on the street. He was found as a stray and is currently in a facility that is not no kill. We will use a transporter to help him get to his dream home. We are looking for an owner familiar with a large breed dog. His adoption fee is 170 and transport is 185. Contact me for an application.
