My story

Meet Jinx! This beautiful 4 year old border collie/aussie boy will make an excellent active companion for the right family. Jinx has nice house manners. He is crate trained and house trained and has not been destructive in his foster home when left loose. Jinx will benefit from obedience training to help him bond with his person and learn the basics. Due to his herding instincts, we feel Jinx would do best with children 12+. As Jinx is very interested in squirrels and small animals, he cannot live with kitties. True to his breed, Jinx is attracted to things that move, so he will require a physically fenced yard to keep him safe; a privacy fence would be a bonus. Jinx’s foster home discovered that he loves playing Frisbee! After just two sessions of training he already has a really good retrieve. We think he could be a great novice/beginner dog for someone interested in disc. He has been playful with a younger, submissive male aussie in his foster home but he seems so people- and ball-focused that he would do fine with someone all to himself. Though Jinx will need regular exercise, he has the ability to relax in the home and hang out with his family at the end of the day.

His adoption fee is $300 plus MN sales tax. Jinx is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro-chipped.
