Maggie lost her home when her people moved and couldn't take her along. She has lived with young children and a cat and her lifelong canine friend Maddie. Maggie is polite with greetings, and then gets right down to the border collie business of being ball crazy! Maggie LOVES her toys and will keep bringing them to you as she finds them! We think Maggie will love to learn other ways to engage with her family as she settles into living indoors in close proximity to her people. After spending most of her time outside, Maggie is now learning how nice soft beds and belly rubs are! Maggie is looking for a family experienced with herding breeds, she can live with kids 8+, she would like a fenced yard too as she does like to chase little critters.
We are still determining if Maggie and Maddie need to stay together, or if they would be happy being loved by themselves. One lucky family will be able to add one or both of these girls to their life! Could that be you?
Maggie's adoption fee is $250 plus MN sales tax or $400 plus MN sales tax for both. Maggie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, micro-chipped, and is getting a dental cleaning.
To apply to adopt Maggie or both dogs, visit our website at www.heartofabordercollie.org and click on the Adopt tab to find an application.
In order to respect the time of our volunteer foster homes, we do not set up meet and greets until applications have been submitted and approved. Thank you.
