Meet Moto Moto, Agnes and Georgia! Three English Bulldogs that have lived their short lives only to breed. A friend of a volunteer brought them to our attention and asked for help getting them off a property from someone wanting to sell them which most certainly would have kept them as breeder dogs. They did not have names, lived in cages outside and were brought into a garage at night. They are very sweet but scared of the world around them. When we picked them up they would not walk on the ground. We had to carry them from van to van. They are leery of new people and anything that is normal to us. They have never been in a home, everything is new. They were taken to the vet for the first time by their saving angle and began treatment for chronic ear infections, sores all over their feet and skin issues overall. They had improved immediately with the medicated baths, clean environment, ear and eye medications. Moto Moto still had 2 cherry eyes that we needed to do surgery on and they needed all vaccines that they have never been given. Miraculously they are HW (-). It will cost ATTR $1000 just for the things mentioned for these 3 bulldogs. We do have them in an experienced English Bulldog home that will be working with them on confidence, potty and crate training and being in a home in general. We will let everyone know when they are ready for adoption. We will only be accepting applications and performing home visits for all adoptions. They are not in the adoption centers. Moto Moto has 2 cherry eyes that he has probably had most of his short life. He looks to be about 2 years old.
Georgia is also about 2 and has dry eye in one eye so bad it looks like she has a cataract. It has remarkably improved with medication already. She has the most overall skin issues and the worst sores on her feet still.
Agnes is the most shut down of the 3. She laid in the same spot and position for the 5 hour car ride to ATTR. She has skin hot spots on her underneath and belly side.
None are potty-trained or have ever been in a home. They are all friendly but very afraid of anything new. They army crawl or pancake on the ground at first. The foster will not be introducing to the resident dogs until after we spay and neuter them. They are not ready for adoption yet. No phone calls please.
