Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FRECKLES is a one year old black and white medium haired female cat. Freckles was abandoned outside, and was ultimately hit by a vehicle. She was found wandering a city street in an inner-city neighborhood. She came to us thin, hungry, filthy and with back legs splayed outward, giving her an awkward run. How Freckles managed to stay alive is a wonder. We couldn’t fix her legs, it was an old injury that healed wrong, but that doesn’t stop our Ms. Freckles from using her box, dashing for her breakfast or dinner, or zipping around in play with one of our other felines prowling the rooms when our office is closed.
Freckles loves other cats, dogs, and specially her human companions. She’s sweet and curious and affectionate and beautiful. Freckles has four white “socks’, and stunning green eyes and a little baby face. We’d love to see her find her forever home, one that will treasure and cherish her for the rest of her life, and where not quite so normal legs don’t matter. Maybe that’s you!
At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.
