My story

Won't someone give our sweet boy Ricky a chance? This handsome fella is so deserving of a home for the holidays. Ricky is almost 6 years old and has been at K9 Petz Rescue for over 2 years. Ricky was pulled from the humane society to prevent his euthanization. He isn't the best with other dogs or young children but would be perfect in a home by himself, especially with someone single or retired or with kids who are older. Ricky was adopted once but due to health issues of the adopter, he was returned to us. He absolutely thrived outside of the kennel environment and we'd love for someone to give him that chance again. Ricky is a great protector with a heart of gold. He also does some pretty cool dance moves when he's happy. He walks great on a leash, knows the off-leash come command and has all his vaccinations along with the canine influenza vaccination. Ricky loves peanut butter sandwiches and one of his fosters bring him half a sandwich at least twice a week. Out of every rescue we've ever met, this boy will forever hold a very special spot in our hearts. There is something so special about Ricky that you would have to meet him to understand what we're talking about. This wonderful boy not only needs, but more than deserves a home for the holidays. If you can't adopt, we ask that you PLEASE share this so we can get Ricky's face, story and name out there to as many people as possible. Take a chance on Ricky and you won't be disappointed!
