Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

When we were contacted by Hartford Animal Control about an emaciated dog in need of our help, we rushed to the rescue. Sadly we’ve seen many emaciated animals in our day, but poor Phoenix was literally skin and bones. Additionally, she was terrified of her own shadow. She would cower if a leaf blew by. We knew Phoenix needed special attention and a quiet home with a confident dog companion and thankfully a young couple offered to foster this sweet girl. Their dog was also extremely scared when they rescued him and has blossomed into a happy and confident dog so we knew this would be the right place for Phoenix to gain strength and heal emotionally and physically. We were right! She loves her foster brother and they have become fast buddies. She’s turned into a loving and happy dog! She has met kids and strangers and has done great with them all. Phoenix is slowly gaining weight and cannot be spayed until she reaches a healthy weight but she will be available for adoption hopefully by the end of the month. If you are interested in learning more about Phoenix please email kenwayscause@aol.com.
