***** ADOPTION PENDING *****
Lionel needs a lap
Meet Lionel, this happy little guy is going to steal your heart... and your lap
Lionel has a calm, happy and very easy going personality. He is glad to hang out on the couch, go for a walk or car ride. Lionel is a purebred Shih Tzu with a wonderful soft cuddly coat that is just right for petting. With his terrific looks, unbeatable personality and tons of charm this fluff ball is going to make the perfect addition for one VERY lucky family.
Lionel is around 7 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. He is house, leash and crate trained. He is very well behaved and is a joy to be around. Lionel gets along with other well-mannered, small breed dogs. He is a bit of an attention hog and enjoys making new friend’s with people who come to visit.
To get ready for his new home, Lionel has been fixed and is up to date on his vaccinations. He has been micro - chipped and per our vet, is in good health. His adoption fee is $250.00
We do our best to place our fosters in the right type of home to fit their individual needs, with this goal in mind we have established the following requirements: We will not adopt Lionel into a home with children under 8 years old. His new home must have a fenced yard. A vet reference is required to be considered. Lionel’s breed requires a significant amount of grooming, his new family must be willing to commit to seeing to this need. Homes with breed experience are strongly preferred. If other animals are owned, they must be fixed, under 40 pounds, gentle with other dogs and up to date on vaccinations. His new family must be able to provide regular exercise via walks. Seniors will only be able to be considered if ambulatory and relatively active. ***** FCDF performs a home visit and inspection with the prospective animal. No out of state / area adoption are possible. We are unable to make exceptions to ANY of the listed requirements*****
