The first step of the adoption process is completing the application. Please complete the application and submit. GDRI is unable to move forward with providing information about an adoptable Dane until and application is completed and processed. Once the application is processed and approved the potential adopter will be connected with the foster home for more information.

My name is Ziva and I’m a 7 years young Fawniquin girl. What is a Fawniquin you ask? Well, I’m beautifully marked with tan spots. Not only am I beautiful, but I have a dazzling personality. Although I can be a little hesitant at first with new people I warm up quickly. Its ON when I warm up, I require affection and I will even try to share my toys with you. That’s what friends do, right? They share!

My foster family says I’m comical and reactive to the television. I like to watch TV, I just get a little over stimulated when we watch shows with animals or chaos. Have you seen Jurassic Park? Wow, who wouldn’t get bent out of shape on that movie! My foster dad watches westerns and that is NOT my favorite.

I’m not a big fan of small children either. Those little humans can be chaotic and I’m not a fan of chaos. I love my big humans! I also love other animals. I like to play with other dogs and I simply ignore the cats. I may perk up when a rooster crows but I don’t react. I’m a pretty laid back gal.
