Jax is a wonderful older guy who was found by one of our volunteers wandering Broadway in Gary, IN. After reporting him to the local authorities and shelters with no calls back, we are in search of a great retirement adoptive home for him.
Jax gets along with everyone, other dogs, all people, and children too. He's a medium size boy weighing about 40 pounds. Jax loves to be pet and enjoys lounging in his comfy spot in the living room. He's a joy, loving and engaging but not needy or whiny.
Jax will be neutered this week. His adoption fee of $150 includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, a fecal, heart-worm test, and a dental.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
