Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MISS LACY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Miss Lacy is being fostered in a private home in Overland Park, Kansas near Kansas City. She is currently accepting applications from those interested in sharing their life with her. Interested parties may direct inquiries to Jan at nbgrtexas@yahoo.com For those who feel certain Miss Lacy is the high class companion you have been searching for, please submit your application on our website at www.brusselsgriffonrescue.org
DON'T FORGET TO WATCH MISS LACY'S VIDEO AS SHE TAKES A JAUNTY STROLL!
National Brussels Griffon Rescue, Inc. is very proud to announce the arrival of our stunningly beautiful Miss Lacy! This classy statuesque little lady is not only breathtaking to look at, but more importantly she is every bit as sweet, charming, and loving on the inside! Miss Lacy is all class, yet she has an irresistible fun loving playful nature that captivates those who are privileged to meet her!
Miss Lacy's previous life companion recently passed away. They shared 12 delightful years together, and she is missed deeply.
Despite her grievous loss, Miss Lacy is eternally optimistic, and understands that life must go on, and each new day brings hope, renewal, and unbridled joy! We guarantee her optimism and zest for life will be a daily inspiration for her next lucky life partner!
Miss Lacy is resplendently dazzling at 21 lbs. She is perfect in every way making it easy to forget she is deaf for one simple reason: the sweet song of life is played from within her gracious heart!
Our elegant Miss Lacy has been given a clean bill of health, is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, on monthly preventative, had a recent dental, and is micro chipped.
We always give preference to adoption applications from families who live within reasonable driving distance of where the dog is being fostered because if for any reason the placement does not work out, it is less stressful for the Griff to be returned to the foster family that dog has previously bonded with.
However, if an applicant from outside the area is approved to adopt, they must drive to where the dog is located or fly. If flying the Griff must fly in the cabin of the plane with his/her new family. We never ship our rescued Griffs, or allow them to fly via cargo.
We never place dogs in homes reliant on electric or invisible fencing to contain pets. Fencing of this type may or may not keep a dog in the yard, nor does this type of fencing protect pets from predators, free roaming dogs, or people who may enter the yard. Should there be a power outage, the fence would be rendered useless. If a pet were to panic and run through the barrier and take an electrical jolt from the fence, that pet would not be inclined to return home, and could be lost forever.
