My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a 6-8-month old male bunny and I want to tell you how I got my name and ask you to please help me find my “Forever Bunny Home.” When I was very young my left back leg was injured, and whoever had me at the time did not bother to take me to the vet for treatment. The injury healed on its own, but one of my joints is not flexible but I was so LUCKY. I adjusted and I can hop as high and fast as any other bunny.

Then about five weeks ago I was abandoned in a neighborhood on a street filled with cars and yards filled with dogs but again I was so LUCKY. I was fast and hid until I hopped into a safe yard. The family could not believe their eyes and they brought me carrots. I was tired and hungry but I knew I was so LUCKY. I could finally rest. I love people and attention so this was a blessing. I was taken to a doctor who confirmed my injury was old and causing no problems. I was so LUCKY. I weighed in at 4.6 pounds and was given a clean bill of health. Most importantly, I was given the name of H.A.R.E. to help with my search for my forever home.

I have gotten bigger during these weeks, eating not only my rabbit pellets and Timothy Hay but carrots, apples, cilantro , parsley and spinach are some of my favorites. I have been so LUCKY. I am a curious bunny and when anyone comes to my cage I hop to greet them and see what is going to happen. Besides being so tame and sweet, I love to have a good ear rub. Because I have been so LUCKY, I am a good bunny and have learned to keep my cage very clean and dry because of my very good litter box habits. I put 98% of my” LUCKY CHARMS” in the box. I would make an excellent “house rabbit”, and boy would I love the space to explore, exercise or just chill!”

I think you can understand why I am called LUCKY. I understand why the family I found cannot keep me. I am asking if you can please help us and find me a home to share with another bunny or human bunny family. I am a positive happy bunny so I know my LUCK has not run out and I am waiting on my next adventure.
